Dear members,
It has been a while since you've heard from us. But we have been very busy on our side 😁.
** In the meanwhile, we are preparing several online courses, such as an implicit learning discovery course (we help you start trying it yourself 😊). Our poll on Twitter (@Motor_Learning) clearly revealed that this is currently the topic of greatest interest. Please see the attached picture and video of our recording day last week 🎥.
** In addition, a new ACL rehabilitation course is being prepared, from pre-op, to acute, intermediate and return to sport rehabilitation. In this course, we bring you up to date on the latest evidence. And how can this evidence help you in your daily practice ? For example, neuromuscular training, what is it and how to use it ? For gaps in literature we provide you with suggestions to try to bridge the gap. Lots of practical stuff ! This one will be available online in September, stay tuned ! Our newest staff member, Eline Nijmeijer, BSc is a talented master student in Human Movement Sciences, is currently working on this course. Please also refer to her post on this forum.
** Saying this, we are proud to mention that the Motor Learning Institute is expanding its collaborations 😀. Our camera man, Mart Verstraete is creating amazing videoshots to bring our courses even more to live. Mart just got his Bachelors degree in Communication from the school of Communication, Media & IT 🎉 We believe in supporting young people to give them a platform to further develop their skills and expertise.
** Also, first meetings with soccer/football coaches have been established to develop several modules on motor learning in soccer performance ⚽️. Exciting times !
** Lastly, our apologies, but due to circumstances we haven't been able yet to put our answers online to the questions we received in May. We have received very relevant questions and will now get the answers to you ASAP. We have not forgotten about it !
Best,
Alli & Anne
